What is CPSIA compliance?
The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) was signed into law by President Bush on Aug. 14, 2008. CPSIA is designed to allow The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) to better regulate the safety of products made and imported for sale in the U.S. CPSIA also contains regulations that are intended to make products for children under age 12 safer by requiring manufacturers and importers to show that these products do not have harmful levels of lead and phthalates.

Are all of your products BPA free?

How does your one-piece venting system work?
Our latest venting technology allows air travelling from outside of the bottle to the inside balancing positive pressure. Air is being redirected through this venting system to the bottom of the bottle via a small opening, keeping air separated from liquid while feeding. The small opening allows air travelling out but prevents water from entering in.
What should I use to wash your nipple venting system?
We recommend using Coddlelife vent cleaning device to clean our nipple venting system. Our vent cleaning device is specially designed for cleaning our venting system. It is durable, anti-slip and non-scratch. Its smooth and non-absorbent surface helps prevent bacterial growth, and is more hygienic to use than cleaning brushes. Gently wash nipple and its venting system in hot soapy water with our specially designed cleaning device. Do not use excessive force to prevent the system from tearing.
I have been your glass bottle user, but I want to try your Peristaltic nipple. Are all of your nipples interchangeable?
Yes, all of our nipples are interchangeable.
Can I use other small pipe cleaners or cleaning brushes to clean your venting system?
No, we don’t recommend using small pipe cleaners or cleaning brushes to clean our venting system due to the fact that they are often abrasive which will cause tear in our venting system. Our vent cleaning device is anti-slip and non-scratch and is specially designed for cleaning our venting system. Its smooth, non-absorbent surface helps to prevent bacterial growth, and is more hygienic to use than cleaning brushes. It scrubs tough residue and hard-to-reach places effectively in seconds.
Gently wash nipple and its venting system in hot soapy water with our specially designed cleaning device. Do not use excessive force to prevent the system from tearing.
What is a Cross-cut Variable nipple?
Cross-cut nipple is ideal to use when alternating between breast and bottle feeding. Baby controls the
flow and liquid comes out only when baby is sucking. It encourages voluntary sucking
motions and oral muscle training. Cross-cut Variable
nipple is also suitable for feeding thick juice and cereal or moms who do not want to bother
changing nipples at different stages.
Am I using your Peristaltic nipple and its venting system properly?
When feeding, the “Top” mark should be facing upward to ensure proper functioning. This will prevent infant from swallowing excessive air while feeding. Feed baby in a semi-upright position (approximately at a 45 ° angle), and baby must be fed under adult supervision.
I see a slight slit at the end of your venting tube. What is this?

Inspect the nipple and its venting system before and after each use. Throw away at the first signs of worn, damage or puncture.

What is the difference between your peristaltic nipples and traditional nipples?
Polypropylene (PP) Bottle
Are the Polypropylene bottles microwave, dishwasher and sterilizer safe?
Absolutely! Our PP bottles are microwave, dishwasher and sterilizer safe. We
recommend washing this product in the top rack of dishwasher at a temperature under 140 °F (60 °C) or hand wash with hot soapy water. Rinse well and dry all components before use. However, due to the risk of creating hot spots and overheating, reheating in a microwave oven is not recommended. If you use a microwave oven, remove nipple, collar and cap before reheating and do not heat for longer than 30 seconds at a time. Stir the contents after reheating to prevent uneven hot spots, and always test liquid temperature before feeding baby. Do not warm the liquid beyond body temperature of 98.6 °F (37 °C). Our PP bottles can be sterilized in steam sterilizer. However, if you prefer to use sterilizing tablet/solution, do not leave in detergent or disinfectant (sterilizing solution) for longer than recommended as this will weaken the product.

Borosilicate Glass Bottle
What is a Borosilicate glass?
It is the same kind of glass used in laboratories due to its superior strength, durability and ability to resist thermal shock, making it extra safe for your little one. Borosilicate glass is also much lighter than traditional glass that is used for baby bottles, and is microwave, dishwasher and sterilizer safe. Our Borosilicate glass bottle is 100% non-toxic, BPA, PVC, Lead and Phthalate free. The thermal insulation tiles in the space shuttle are coated with a borosilicate glass.
Can I microwave your glass bottle?
Yes, our glass bottle is microwave safe. However, due to the risk of creating hot
spots and overheating, reheating in a microwave oven is not recommended. If you
use a microwave oven, remove nipple, collar and cap before reheating and do not
heat for longer than 30 seconds at a time. Stir the contents after reheating to

Bottle Wrap
Can I sterilize your bottle wrap?
Absolutely! Our bottle wrap is made of 100% food grade silicone. It is the same material we use in our nipples which can be sterilized.
Can I put your bottle wrap in electrical bottle warmer?
No, bottle wrap cannot be placed in electrical bottle warmer. Please take it off before reheating.
Can I use sterilizing solution/tablet to sterilize your bottle wrap?

Can I use needle to enlarge your nipple hole?
Do not attempt to enlarge nipple hole as this will cause tearing. Please purchase different stages of nipples accordingly.
Bottle Capacity
What is the capacity of your bottles?
Both of our Glass and PP bottles have the capacity of 8.5 oz.-9oz., but they are printed as 8oz. bottles.
Are you going to have smaller bottles in the future?
Yes, 5 oz. bottles will be available soon.
Environmental Concerns
What kind of packaging materials does your company use?
We use 100% recyclable paper and PET material for all of our packaging. PET is an environmentally friendly material that can be recycled and is phthalates free. It has an excellent environmental profile due to its single material. It is made from the same three elements (carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen) as paper, and contains no toxic substances. When burned, it produces carbon dioxide, gas and water, leaving no toxic residues.

For all purchases made on www.coddleinc.com. You may return UNOPENED and UNUSED merchandise within two weeks of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. We will refund or exchange the returned merchandise after inspection provided the product has not been tampered with and that it is suitable for resale.
